At Blagreaves we appreciate that every patient is an individual and, as such, will have their own unique requirements when it comes to their oral care. We will work with you to ensure the health of your mouth today and in the future.
Each new patient is invited in for a comprehensive oral health check. This check allows us to get to know you (and your mouth!) better. While we will be assessing the health of your teeth and gums during the exam, we also want to find out more about your past dental health. We may take x-rays and request further information regarding your past dental care. We’ll also need the details of any current medications you are taking.
Once your check is over we will discuss our findings with you. Then, together we can start to plan your long-term dental care. The majority of patients are advised to visit their Dentist every 6 months, although some will require less frequency – and some more.
If, following your check, you are in need of further treatment then this will be fully discussed with you and scheduled in as necessary.
If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, or feel very nervous at the thought of a visit please let us know. We will always do our best to accommodate you in any way we can. Likewise, if you have any specific needs please inform our reception staff when booking your appointment.
